Bathurst Radiation Bus Service
This bus service runs from Daffodil Cottage, Bathurst to the Department of Radiation Oncology, Orange Base Hospital. The service runs Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year, and powered by Volunteers.
This service is designed to support community members to access radiation treatment on a daily basis at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Orange Base Hospital. If you require assistance to attend radiation treatment in Orange, this bus service could assist you. You will need to be assessed to identify if you qualify to use the service. $5 Return. If you are unable to pay the contribution, please let our office know as ‘Can Assist’ may be in the position to assist you.

Bathurst Community Transport is appreciative of the support received from Reliance Bank for the Bathurst Radiation Bus Service, a government-unfunded service. Reliance Bank has been an ongoing sponsor of this service since 2014 in the amount of $85,000 as of 1st July 2019. Without their support, Bathurst Community Transport would not be in the position to provide this much-needed transport.
